Opened in 2022 in the cork-oak forest of the Dar Es Salam royal estate, the Ritz-Carlton Rabat occupies the grounds of a former royal guesthouse beside the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, with rooms and suites around gardens and a large pool, several restaurants and a spa, and a sense of parkland seclusion a few kilometres from the centre of the capital.
